When scripture mentions seed and harvest it's a spiritual reference.
The feasts and festivals of the church often coincide with seed time and harvest. Scripture readings for the seasons do as well. That's on purpose. For while we pray for the promise of seed time and celebrate the bounty of harvest, we pray and celebrate for both our natural and spiritual work. We should remember to plant spiritual seeds as well as earthy ones, and to look for a spiritual harvest as we gather in the blessings of our earthly labors. The scriptures, festivals and teachings have so much to teach us about the Lord of the Harvest! Listen to learn more at www.qcaradio.com.
