What is a church calendar, and why should I care?
There's a method to the madness, friends. The church follows an ecclesiastical (church) calendar because we have such a strong propensity to forget God. The ecclesiastic calendar is one way for believers to actively remember the birth, death, resurrection and soon return of our Lord and King, Jesus Christ. When you live by the calendar of the church, there's never a day without purpose and inspiration for the work that lies ahead. More than that, the eccelesiastical calendar will begin to impact how you understand the world around you. Listen to learn more at Quad Cities Anglican Radio.
